Today we celebrate the Feast of the Lord Christ’s Entrance into Egypt and the beginning of the Apostles’ Fast.

This Sunday is also the fifth Sunday of the blessed month of Pashons. Whenever a Coptic month has a fifth Sunday, the Church rejoices and proclaims the Gospel of the Blessing of the Five Loaves and Two Fish.
