Today Monday 6/24/2024 is the first day of the Apostle’s Fast. 

This Sunday is the 4th Sunday of the blessed month of Paone. 

The month of Paone is the tenth Coptic month in the Coptic Calendar. During this month the Church tells us about the work of the Holy Spirit in our life.

The Gospel for this Sunday’s Divine Liturgy will be from Luke 6:27-38 

“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.” Luke 6:27-28

Saint Hedra the hermit

Fr. Hedra Faltaous is the priest for St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church located in Knoxville, TN. H.G. Bishop Youssef ordained him priest on February 19, 2017. Fr. Hedra has been serving as a priest within the Diocese of the Southern United States since February 19, 2017. We pray that the Lord will continue blessing his service.
